For the Weekend

MY VACATION IS OVER and I'm back on all-day wifi. Yesterday I saw Sara Bareilles' new music video for her song I Choose You. Bareilles' songs are beautiful poems and her voice has a timeless rarity. But there is this sense about her, this endearing unpretentiousness, that I always appreciate in an artist. In her new video, she helps two couples get engaged. Aly wants to propose to Andrea in front of family and friends, and Matt is hoping his girlfriend Chelsea will say yes amidst a backdrop of nostalgic paper dioramas he made himself. Watch the video here.
